But first let’s make a premise: The ammunition create a radial pressure inside the choke tubes: the shorter the choke tube the more pressure is exerted and can cause deformations or bulging. The “Performer” model, with its 38 mm projection from the gun barrel, allows the steel ammunitions to fit better into the choke’s entrance without damaging it (maximum choke LF).

The “Performer” choke is an enhanced ported, there are 20 compensation holes, unlike our classic ported one which only has 16; the result is a even more dampened recoil.
