The 44th World Sporting Championship has just ended at the Orvieto Shooting Range, where from 14 to 17 July more than 1000 athletes from all over the world competed in the Sporting specialty.
Not only athletes that use our chokes were there, but we from Gemini also attended with our own stand. During the days of the competition this space saw many people stop by, allowing us to meet the numerous shooters who choose us, as well as plenty of new ones.
Moving on to the competition grounds, it is immediately worth highlighting the performance of young Cristian Camporese, both in the category reserved for Juniors and overall rankings. Thanks to an excellent score of 193 out of 200, this young man from Padua also put himself in the spotlight among the greats, closing in fourth place in the general ranking, surrendering to his opponent only after an exceptionally long shoot off. A result that still allowed him to win gold among the Juniors and to place his name towards the top of the overall rankings.
A second success then came in the team category, where in a team with our Matteo Plodari and Federico Vitarelli, he finished in first place in the challenge reserved for Juniors.
Once again, our congratulations go to the Junior World Champion Camporese, to Plodari and to the many shooters, and friends, who competed in the various categories with excellent results. We are happy to have you all in our great Family!
Last but not least, we take this opportunity to thank those who stopped by just for a chat or to get to know us better. We have missed the magical atmosphere of the event, which can only be experienced in person, during every competition!
