Even in the last event that closes the international sport shooting season, the athletes relying on Gemini chokes cut a dash. From 28 November to 4 December, the President's Cup, the competition that sees the best twelve shooters in the ranking as for any specialty challenge each other, was held on the Cairo platforms.
On this occasion many Gemini shooters, as usual in any competition wothy of its name, gave their best.
Martina Bartolomei's performance in women's skeet medal match was noteworthy. After an excellent qualification round the Italian shooter wasn’t able to do anything else but giving in to the American Caitlin Connor with a final score of 7-3.
A further medal was won by the Czech Jiri Liptak who finished third in the men's trap competition.
With the the finals of the President's Cup, therefore, the 2022 season of clay pigeon shooting comes to an end. A year that saw Gemini climb onto the podium once again thanks to the results achieved by its athletes in several competitions, both nationally and internationally.
The world of clay pigeon shooting raises the interest of an ever-increasing number of enthusiasts and at the same time is characterized by a growing level of competitiveness. Likewise it is safe to say that the Gemini family is expanding, thanks to the plenty of athletes, including the “old guards” as well as “young blood”, who decide to choose us in order to obtain the best outcome in every challenge.
