European Sporting Championship (Signes): Cristian Camporese

The 55th edition of the European Sporting Championship was held on the French platforms in Signes, as usual, the athletes provided with our chokes for clay pigeon shooting stood out.

The most prestigious achievement was obtained by Cristian Camporese, a young promise of this sport who has been showing off his skills for a long time. The young athlete hailing from Padua exhibited his own technical qualities as he managed to climb onto the top step of the podium, hence placing first with a score of 184 out of 200. Three targets ahead of the second, the host country opponent Arthur Caron (silver with 181), and four of the third, the Spanish Diego Mazariegos Mozo (bronze with 180).
Consequently our Cristian clinched the European Junior Champion title!


After succeeding in the individual, the youngster attained a silver in the team event taking the field with Matteo Plodari and Federico Vitarelli. The youth Italian team gave up solely to our cousins from beyond the Alps, by the score of 526 out of 600, thus reaching the second spot of the podium. 

As regards the team men event, Davide Gasparini, shooter relying our chokes, next to Enrico De Tomasi, Michael Nesti and Michael Spada, won silver with 725 out of 800.

Congratulations to Cristian and Davide for their feats and to each the 510 shooters who competed on the French platforms.
